For a class project, we had to redesign a logo for a small business, and I immediately thought of a bakery from my town that specializes in a Brazilian dessert called Brigadeiro. The product that Brigadeiro by Ana Saab sells is so tasty and a local favorite, I think by sprucing up their branding and social media, they could expand their business even more.

The shape of a Brigadeiro wrapper inspired the shape of the sticker from a bird’s eye view. The color, type, and composition are all based on the existing logo but with a modernized twist. I wanted to maintain the brand identity in this redesign but with an updated modern twist. You can see this in the colors used, the typefaces, and the graphics: they all borrow elements from the original logo. Ana Saab uses her logo as stickers, so I took that into consideration while redesigning it to make sure it looked good in that format as well.
