For one of my drawing classes, I decided to draw a woman without a reference photo from a three-quarters perspective entirely from my imagination. I borrowed features from my classmates and combined them to create “her,” the girl who doesn’t exist yet looks like she could. She is meant to evoke familiarity. I completed this portrait in about one hour and forty-five minutes.
