For a class project, were tasked to choose a Museum and create a catalog for it for Spring 2024. I chose the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), because not only is it one of my favorite museums to visit, but I also really admire their branding. Without having access to their branding guidelines, I still wanted to stay true to their “vibe.” I found that the typeface they used, MoMA Gothic Display, was inspired by Franklin Gothic, which is what I used throughout my design.

DESIGN SPECS
Size: 6.5” x 9”; vertical.
Pages: 12 total (8 page interior + 4 page cover).
Color: 4-color (CMYK) or you may use black plus spot colors. You must use one other color besides black.
Comp: Computer output; laser prints or ink-jet prints on white paper.
Type: You can use up to two families from the LUC-approved typefaces.
Images: Created or found illustration and/or photography.
