In a project for my painting class, we were tasked with painting a very saturated still life made up of mostly primary colors. The only colors used in this project were cool and warm variations of each primary color (red, yellow, and blue); therefore, I had to use complementary colors to lower saturation/dull the color and use analogous colors to adjust the color temperature, exercising my knowledge in color theory.
